Henry Iles

Henry Iles is an expressionist painter, printmaker, graphic designer and typographer. His art is halfway between Bad Painting and Art Brut and he dissects (with the mentality of a surgeon) personal relationships and self-exploration, transforming them into the common thread of most of his works. Deeply reflective and self-effacing, sometimes dark, his art is infused with humour and absurdity. Henry lives and works in Asturias, Spain.
